Dubai attempts to break the record for the ‘World's Largest Firework Display’
If you’re in Dubai this New Year’s Eve, then it will definitely be hard to miss what is expected to be the largest firework display ever known to mankind, and guess where it will be taking place – THE PALM JUMEIRAH!
Choreographed across the entire structure of Palm Jumeirah and The World Islands, the show will last approximately 6 minutes. Gear up and look toward the skies at midnight on the 31st of December 2013, as the attempt will take place right before your eyes to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Fireworks Display.’
450,000 stunning fireworks and series of scenes designed for the show will take off, covering a distance of 99.4km of seafront and to top it all off, the show will be set to a musical soundtrack also designed exclusively for the event.
We at Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah will be hosting a fabulous gala dinner to bring in the New Year and to celebrate our involvement in conjunction with the other surrounding hotels in the world record breaking attempt, solidifying The Palm Jumeirah as one of the region’s most thrilling destinations.
As the show concludes after six exciting minutes, another display lasting 15 minutes will begin covering the stretch of the popular Jumeirah beach, making this a firework extravaganza you won’t want to miss.
So where will you be this New Year’s eve? If you have yet to make plans, then join us at Kempinski on The Palm Jumeirah and get a front row seat to a magical show that is expected to beat all previous records and go down in the history books.
