Take Kempinski Home - Leather upholstery stain removal tips

Have you ever come across a stain on your favourite leather sofa that you have no idea how to remove from the upholstery? Don’t worry, because Mrs. Pamini Hemaprabha has once again opened her little black book and shared valuable tips & secrets with us.

First of all, don’t be afraid of your leather upholstery and the stains on it. You can remove them and it’s not as difficult as you may think. What’s more, you don’t even need a lot of fancy and expensive supplies, as most of the items Pamini suggests are things you will already have at home.

All you need to make your leather upholstery look as good as new is a damp duster, a clean cloth, a white sponge (also called a magic sponge), gloves to protect your hands, leather cleaning wipes and leather protector wipes. Once you have all these items, you are ready to start!

Step one: Put on your gloves to make sure your hands are protected.

Step two: Wipe the stain in a circular motion using the damp duster. Then do the same using the leather cleaning wipes. If the stain is stubborn and still won’t budge, grab the white sponge and let it work its magic.

The next step is to then wipe the leather upholstery with the clean cloth.

Finally, rub the stain in a circular motion using the leather protecting wipes, to seal the place where the spot once was.

If you follow all the above steps, your leather upholstery will shine like new again in no time!
