Bring on the Oktoberfest

It’s that special time of the year again and we’re sure you know what we’re talking about!

From late September until the first weekend of October we’re all about Oktoberfest; think speciality German brews, Brezel (pretzels), Weisswurst (white sausages), music and a lot more. With the weather becoming cooler again this is the perfect time to celebrate and have a little fun.

Oktoberfest is the annual celebration of German Brews and is traditionally held in Munich. It’s not just the German nationals that attend this festival: over six million people around the world celebrate this festival every year. These impressive figures place Oktoberfest as the world’s largest and well-known festival.

This month, albeit on a smaller scale than in the festival’s hometown Munich, there will be a lot of activities taking place around Dubai for all of us to enjoy and celebrate this Bavarian tradition. From live bands that play traditional German music and people dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen outfits, to pints of German brews, brezel and weisswurst, Oktoberfest is one festival that’s not to be missed.

With everything else adding up, this will be one of the best times of the year. So don’t miss out and get ready for the exciting Oktoberfest!
