Madaba – Jerusalem 2012 Book

Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea & Rowaq Al Balqa Foundation for Arts launch Madaba – Jerusalem 2012 Book.

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Alia Tabbaa, the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea in cooperation with Rowaq Al Balqa Foundation for Arts, celebrated the launching ceremony of Madaba – Jerusalem Book 2012. This prestigious event was attended by more than 150 important guests such as the Jordanian Minister of Culture, government officials, art and history intellectuals, writers and lovers of Jordanian fine arts to celebrate this unique occaision. The ceremony included an exhibition of many artworks from a large number of Jordanian and international artists which will continue at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea until end of October, 2012.

Madaba – Jerusalem 2012 book has been published in many international languages including English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian and Arabic. It is dedicated to deliver information about the two ancient cities in the Middle; Madaba & Jerusalem, in an artistic way and to explore the history and traditions of Jordan & Palestine over the centuries. The book speaks of Jordan and Palestine reaching out to a global audience passionate about the historical and artistic wealth of this Kingdom.

Mr. Patrick Ritter, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and Area Director Jordan, commented "hosting this great cultural event represents Kempinski’s drive and commitment to support, motivate and record the artistic cultural movements in the region. He pointed out that publishing this book in a number of languages, allow readers to identify the ancient history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Palestine and encourage them to visit and explore the beauty of these charming countries."

Mr. Khaldoun Al Daoud, the owner of Rowaq al Balqa Foundations for Arts, was delighted to launch this Book, which traces the landmarks of ancient civilizations in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Palestine and which will remain as a source of knowledge for future generations and an indispensable guide to for visitors to Jordan and Palestine. He also added "The cooperation between the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea & Rowaq Al Balqa Foundation for Art reflects the evolution of the artistic movement in Jordan, and thanked the organizers on this great effort to introduce this unique event to support Jordanian creativity in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
