This is the site where it all began – the site where John baptised Jesus Christ.

This site marks the beginning of Jesus’ mission and the beginning of Christianity, thus making it one of the three holiest Christian sites in the world.

The Baptism Site is less than half-an-hour away from the hotel.

  • Mount Nebo

    Mount Nebo

This is the place where the Prophet Moses was buried and it is the most revered holy site in Jordan. When atop this mountain, one can see, as Prophet Moses did, the vast panorama that encompasses the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem, often referred to as the Holy Land. Mount Nebo’s first church was built in the late fourth century to mark the site of Prophet Moses’ death. It remains a place of pilgrimage for Christians.
