Hotel Policies

- Room Rate

  • All rates are subject to 7% Sales Tax & 10% Service Charge.
  • Rates include: complimentary mini bar replenished once per day (every 24 hours) and complimentary wired Internet access.
  • A maximum of two adults and one child (MAXIMUM) is allowed per guest room.  Extra beds are available at a supplement rate.

- Check-in 

  • Check-in time from 15:00 hrs.
  • Official identification is required upon check-in.
  • Credit card or cash deposit is required upon check-in for incidental charges.
  • Early check-in is subject to availability and charges apply.

- Check-out 

  • Check-out time is at 12:00 hrs.
  • Late check-out is subject to availability and charges apply.

- Payment

  • Hotel accepts: Cash, American Express, Master card and Visa.

- Children 

  • A child under 6 years of age, in the room with their parents.
  • A child under 6 years of age, breakfast and dinner is complimentary, when consumed at the buffet.
  • Children between 6 to 12 years of age receive 50% discount on the breakfast and dinner buffets.
  • All children 13 years and above are considered adults.

- Extra Bed 

  • Extra beds are for children only.
  • Children under 6 years – complimentary.
  • Age 6 to 12 years – JD 35++ inclusive of breakfast.

- Food & Beverage 

 

  • Food and Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought into the hotel for hygiene and quality control issues : Each guest (18 years and older) may bring one bottle of liquor, wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) into the hotel in his or her carry-on luggage at the beginning of the stay. The hotel screens luggage as part of a standard security process and reserves the right to remove all alcoholic beverages from guest luggage that violates this policy. Any alcoholic beverage found will be removed, securely stored and returned upon departure. Guests will not receive any monetary compensation for alcoholic beverages that were removed from luggage. A corkage fee of JD 20++ per bottle (subject to change) applies to wine and champagne brought to the restaurants or bars for consumption.

- Non Resident 

  • Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, upon evaluation of customer and security concerns, has implemented a "no visitor" policy.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause, which is focusing on enhancing a sense of total privacy for all our guests.  For more information on this policy, please contact us in advance.

- Pets 

  • Pets not allowed
