Guo Hui Yan Chinese Restaurant Grand Opening Ceremony at the Huan Yan

16th May 2013,To mark the grand opening of the Guo Hui Yan Chinese Restaurant at the Kempinski Hotel Chongqing, the restaurant team visited the Hua Yan Buddhist Temple in Chongqing city to bless for good fortune and success with Joss Sticks and Joss Paper to bring good luck and great wealth through spiritual respect. The Hua Temple began religious activities in 1599 (Ming Dynasty) and is composed of three parts; the Huayan Cave, the Reception Hall and the Sakyamuni Hall.

Kempinski Hotel Chongqing continued its ceremonial rituals at the Guo Hui Yan Chinese Restaurant with elaborate burning of Joss Sticks by employees and the executive team to ensure continuous prosperity.

The Guo Hui Yan Chinese Restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the hotel with an elegant foyer featuring 18 private rooms and public seating for up to 120 guests. It also boasts a culture wall leading to the second level written by Zhu Mo, a famous Chinese calligrapher. Selections of “Ba Yu Fu” and “Goddess Peak” bring the Ba Yu images to the guests.
