A thought-provoking ballet, a concert by an emerging French star singer, a jazz concert, an evening of organ music and must-see Nutcracker are the Palace of Arts’ programmes.
December 3 - Moses and the Ten Commandments, the new production of Hungarian ballet artist Iván Markó
December 8 - Isabelle Druet, French opera singer will be performing a show: Shakespeare’s works from Berlioz, Brahms, Saint-Saëns and Sibelius.
December 14 - Gábor Winand's concert "Laberinto" featuring not only his wife, but also three musicians from overseas: Ramón Valle (piano), Omar Rodrigez Calvo (bass) and Owen Hart (drums).
December 18 - joint concert of organist István Rupert and the Purcell choir conducted by György Vashegyi, focus on the art of Johann Sebastian Bach.
December 21-28 - Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker directed by János Novák, Kolibri Theatre’s general manager. At this puppet theatre adaptation Zoltán Kocsis will conduct the suite.
