Nobu, the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurant known for its innovative new style Japanese cuisine, started as a business partnership in 1994 between chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa and his partners, actor Robert De Niro, producer Meir Teper, and managing partner Richie Notar.
The chef of the empire with 22 restaurants worldwide, who has become famous under the name Nobu, merges traditional Japanese techniques with South American flavours in his kitchen.
This new style cuisine is a reflection of Matsuhisa’s training as a sushi chef in Tokyo, combined with his extensive travels. |
The
Budapest site will be the first Nobu Restaurant in Central-Europe. With a ground space of 500 m2,
Nobu Budapest will consist of a 56-seat bar and a restaurant with 81 seats including a private room and the
sushi bar. The interiors of Nobu Budapest are designed by Rockwell Group, a company responsible for the interior development of several Nobu restaurants worldwide.
