Kempinski Hotel Dukes' Palace in Bruges is Belgium's big winner at World Travel Awards 2011
London, September 2nd 2011 - Kempinski Hotel Dukes’ Palace in Bruges has been awarded the two prestigious awards of ‘Belgium’s Leading Business Hotel’ and ‘Belgium’s Leading Hotel’ by the 2011 World Travel Awards. Hailed as the ‘Oscar of the travel industry’ by the Wall Street Journal, this award acknowledges outstanding and unique excellence in the travel and tourism industry worldwide. In addition, to receive two top Awards is remarkable.

The World Travel Awards were established in 1992 and have taken lead on one of the most important aspects of travel and tourism, namely guest experience as this is the key success factor of a hotel. The award stimulates creativity and innovation which leads to world-class competition. This year, more than 213000 votes were cast by industry professionals.
