Trout is one of the most popular fish in Slovakia.
After researching local suppliers, we have found a local fish farm near the hotel in Jelka producing top quality trout.
As the hotel is located on the banks of the Danube River and the fish farm’s ponds take water from a Danube tributary, the Danube is like a string linking the trout to the hotel. Trout in a salt crust was the initial signature dish. However, with the development of the Pure Kitchen restaurant concept, trout offers the possibility to be adapted to this concept in a trendy way.
Trout is served in a silver casserole with a mouth-watering aroma coming out when the wait staff opens up the lid in front of the guest.
