For outdoor enthusiasts, there is also horseback riding, rafting and a network of paths for running and cycling in and around the city. The best paths are found along the Danube River and in the forested hills above the city. If spectator sports are more your cup of tea, football and hockey are the main winter sports, while tennis is popular in the summer. And there is a horseracing track in the Petržalka district.
