Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko Opens the Summer Barbecue Season with Hot Latino Rhythms

The hotel promises a vibrant summer with many music and culinary surprises

During the past weekend, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko surprised its guests with an entertaining evening under the open sky, including a flavourful barbecue buffet accompanied by live Latino music. The dinner took place on Saturday at The Gallery Restaurant terrace, where guests had the chance to enjoy a delicious variety of charcoal-grilled meats served under the stars with a refreshing, cool breeze and a panoramic view of the Pirin Mountains. The special guest band, “Ire Vazquez Trio” featuring the Cuban vocalist Irenia Vazquez, performed passionate Latino songs and kept guests well entertained until late in the evening. This weekend’s event was the first of a series of Latino barbecue dinners to be held every Saturday in July.

Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko also offers another culinary temptation to its guests – authentic Asian flavours. The open bar at the La Veranda summer terrace features a sushi corner where guests can enjoy exotic specialities prepared in front of them by professional Asian chefs. The bar is open every day and is the only place in Bansko offering sushi during the summer.

At La Veranda Bar and Lounge, guests can also refresh themselves in the swimming pool and choose from a rich assortment of cooling cocktails during the hot summer days. While relaxing under the sun, they can take advantage of the free high-speed Wi-Fi connection to stay in touch with their friends and family or keep track of their business endeavors.

After the Latino Barbecue evenings in July, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko will continue the music fever with jazz nights in August. In the spirit of Bansko’s 17th International Jazz Festival taking place from 8 -13 August, the hotel will surprise its guests with its own jazz show at Sing Sing Piano Bar. All jazz lovers are welcome to come on 8, 9 and 10 of August to savour live performances of selected jazz, blues and rock songs. The special guest band will be vocal instrumental group “Pampor”, and the entrance will be free of charge for hotel and outside guests.

Throughout the whole summer, guests who have chosen Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena for their holiday can take advantage of the special Summer Well-Being Programme, offered as an additional bonus. For those who wish to be active during their stay, there are various well-being activities to choose from, including yoga classes for beginners and more advanced levels, fitness sessions, aqua gymnastics, wake-up jogging, body and mind anti-stress classes, biking tours, mountain hiking and walks of varying lengths and level of difficulty. Participation in these activities is free and open to all guests willing to join.

Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko promises a dynamic summer season, filled with advantageous offers and activities to ensure a memorable and enjoyable holiday.
