Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City welcomes Laurent Ebzant as the new General Manager. He takes over the opening and management of Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana from Markus Lueck, who has moved on to the Palais Hansen Kempinski in Vienna.
Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, the company's first hotel in West Africa, will set a new standard of luxury hospitality in the region.
With more than fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, Laurent joined Kempinski in 2011 as Hotel Manager of Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva, one of Kempinski’s flagship properties in Switzerland.
Laurent spent the early years of his career in several European properties of Hyatt Hotels where he held numerous F&B roles. After exploring new territory at the Columbus Hotel Monte Carlo, Monaco, as Executive Assistant Manager for four years, Laurent returned to Hyatt in 2007 as General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine in 2010. A French national, Laurent is fluent in French and English. He holds a Superior & Master’s Degree from the Hospitality School of Paris, France.
