San Lawrenz/Gozo, June 2009; Having first opened its doors under the name San Lawrenz Leisure Resort at L-Imnarja 1999, the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz is celebrating its tenth anniversary on the 29th June of this year. For the first two years, the luxury resort was privately managed by its Maltese owner, Joseph Baldacchino, until the Kempinski Hotel Group took over the management in 2001.

October 2009; Our environment and its safeguarding for future generations has become one of the salient aspects in the tourism trade, which in turn is one of the most important industries of the Maltese islands. This week, the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz has become one of the eighteen Maltese eco-certified hotels, and to-date the only one in Gozo.
